The easiest way to visit us is by plane, and then rent a car to drive from the airport to Château de Buros in Escalans.

But it is other possibilities if you prefer taxi/bus from the airport. Please take a look at the following suggestions at this page.

Attention:

- There are toll stations on the highway. You must take a ticket on the first toll station and put it in the machine on the next station and pay the fee, it accepts card and cash.

- There is no charger for electric cars at the Château.

For the best connections and shortest transfer you fly to Bordeaux, Toulouse or Lourdes.

Berlin has direct flights with Easy Jet to Bordeaux. https://www.easyjet.com/de

Oslo and Copenhagen have direct flights with Norwegian Airlines to Bordeaux and Toulouse in summer time. https://www.norwegian.no/
Direct flight to Bilbao could be an alternative, but has a transfer time of 3.5 hours.

Krakow has direct flights with Ryan Air to Toulouse and Lourdes. https://kiwi.com

Flights with one stop all year around with KLM. https://klm.com

SIXT ask you to pay attention to "protection". For car rental abroad, you must always choose which insurance to add: Basic Insurance, Smart Insurance or All Inclusive Insurance.

There is a very limited taxi-service in the area around the Château. But it is possible to book taxi to and from the airport in advance.

Taxi from Bordeaux to the Château costs 270-450 Euro (one way).

Taxi: If you are a little group between 3-8 people taxi could be a good solution. Taxi for up to 4 persons gets the best price with Allocab. For more information about booking, prices etc. , please read the Taxi information

Bus: If you are a bigger group 20+ and do want to spend most of the time at the Château a bus could be the solution. Has to be booked in advance.

The cars were bought to have one for the staff and a van to use for sightseeing for work groups.

Due to a small staff we cannot offer shuttle with the company cars on a regular basis.

In winter time/low-season the team of Buros will have more possibilities to pick you up from the airport  so you can always contact them for that information.

If you have booked the Château privately or you are coming with a group you can rent the van for 30 Euro a day. However we cannot promise you to have the car or be picked up at the airport

It is possible to go by train to Bordeaux. Then you have to book rental car or taxi in advance for the rest of the trip.
